PHYSICAL FITNESS IS THE FIRST REQUISITE TO HAPPINESS. JOSEPH PILATES
Bridge the gap between Physical Therapy and physical fitness at The Body Haus.
Physical Therapy has long been known to have many benefits
- Helps people move better
- Improves and/or restores your physical function and fitness level
- Prevent falls through improved balance
- Improved recovery after surgery
- Reduces pain
- Prevent injuries in everyday activities or sports
But is there something better than traditional Physical Therapy?
Pilates-based Physical Therapy is the ultimate rehabilitation method for dynamic spinal stabilization and treating the whole body. Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body with specific exercises. It can be tailored to any level of fitness or health. In many instances, Pilates-based Physical Therapy can eliminate the need for painful, invasive and expensive surgery and/or pain medication.
As a Board Certified Orthopaedic Physical Therapist, I will assess and treat your specific issues with knowledge based on research and best practices. Manual therapy will be utilized as needed to maximize each patient’s rehabilitation potential. You will never be left to do exercises by yourself or compete with someone else for my attention. This results in an effective treatment plan that promotes healing.
Ready to get started?
Please review our services, rates, and studio policies. To request a session call 614.832.9783 or send an email to email@example.com
To maximize our time together, we ask you to bring your completed medical history forms to your first visit. We also recommend wearing comfortable clothing: tank tops for women when working on neck, shoulder or upper back issues, and shorts for anyone working on hip, knee, or ankle issues. I will take a detailed medical history and review your reports and medications. After conducting an in-depth physical examination, I will outline a treatment proposal that may begin with hands-on manual therapy treatment and Pilates-based exercise therapy, in addition to a self-care plan.
Initial Evaluation $135
The initial evaluation is your first visit. During this appointment we will spend time getting to know each other and your injury/condition. The evaluation is 60 minutes in length. During this time, we will go over your medical history, current problems or complaints, and how these are impacting your daily activities.
Prior to your first visit, each patient must complete a medical questionnaire. Please go to the New Client Forms and complete these before your appointment.
Follow Up Appointments $80
Once your initial evaluation is complete, you may schedule follow-up visits at the frequency and duration recommended. Follow up appointments are 60 minutes in length. In addition to your therapy sessions at The Body Haus, you will be expected to complete independent exercises between visits ~ an integral piece in your ability to achieving your goals.
Progress will be assessed during each visit as related to the baseline measurements recorded during your initial assessment. You may be asked to complete brief questionnaires related to functional activities on an intermittent basis to help quantify your progress.
Please provide at least 24 hours notice should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. We do charge in full for cancellations made in less than 24 hours and for missed appointments. You can cancel one of three easy ways: your online MINDBODY scheduler account, email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at (614) 832-9783.
